PUMPKIN DARK CHOCOLATE CHIP GRANOLA
I love granola! In fact, I love it so much that I am going to be sharing a whole section dedicated to my favorite batches of granola. I make granola often at the office for my co-worker's. I also make it at home for my kids, friends and most of all......me!
My goodness this batch made the house smell so good. There's is nothing better than fall aromas in your house. The awesome smell of pumpkin spice mixed with organic cinnamon, maple and chocolate might be the best smell ever.
If you want to add 1/4 cup pecans to the batch go ahead and do that. It is great. I left out the nuts today because I am really not suppose to eat nuts often.
For the ingredients:
3 cups Quaker Old Fashion Oats (make sure they are old fashion)
1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup Pumpkin puree
1 Tablespoon of Pumpkin Spice
1 Tablespoon of Organic Cinnamon
2 Tablespoons of Torani Dark Chocolate Sauce
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
3 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
! Teaspoon of Vanilla
Preheat oven to 400 Degrees
To Make:
In a large mixing bowl add in the 3 cups of Quaker Old Fashion Oats
Fold in the 1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree and mix together
Add in the Vanilla, Maple Syrup, Dark Chocolate Sauce, and mix together
Add in the 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips, 1/4 cup Brown Sugar, 1 Tablespoon of Pumpkin Spice & the 1 Tablespoon of Organic Cinnamon and stir together
Line large cookie sheet with liner and spread your granola mixture throughout the cookie sheet
Bake at 400 Degrees for 12 minutes
Take out and cool on cookie sheet for 1 hour
Place in Zip Log Baggie and enjoy. The granola will get crunchy the longer it sits.
