
Banana Pecan French Toast
Who doesn't love Brunch? This might be my favorite meal of all. I love breakfast food - morning, noon, night and snacks! One of my favorite things is french toast. This time I added a little twist with bananas, pecans and that good 'ole maple syrup on top.
This makes a great brunch item, or like us tonight, a good dinner or what we call supper dish.
INGREDIENTS: Serves 4
4 large eggs️1/4 cup 2 Percent milk
️2 Tbsps pure maple syrup
1 Tbsp of Organic Cinnamon
️4 slices Nature's Own Thick Perfectly Crafted Bread - I use white (some like multigrain)
️1 large banana, sliced
️1/2 cup chopped raw pecans
1/4 stick butter or margarine
To Make:
• Combine eggs, milk, maple syrup and organic cinnamon in a bowl; whisk to blend.
• Soak each slice of bread in egg mixture for 1-2 minutes, turning halfway.
• Add 1/4 stick of butter or margarine and let pan get hot over medium heat
• Add bread; cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
• Top each slice evenly with banana and pecans; top with pure maple syrup and serve! So Delicious!
