Dark Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Haystacks
I love dark chocolate! It is filled with antioxidants and is just delicious. I am not that crazy about milk chocolate. I use dark chocolate in almost every chocolate recipe that I come up with.
These dark chocolate caramel pretzel haystacks are no exception. They are filled with dark chocolate, sea salt caramel, and pretzels. #winwin These are delicious and easy to make for the Holiday Season's approaching. They are fun to add little eyes on to make spiders or monsters for Halloween. Leave the eyes off and they make delicious candy to your dessert bars for Christmas, Showers, or any occasion.
They also make cute little #reindeer. I will make a batch of those soon for the Christmas Season and will share with you.
Give these a try. You will be glad that you did. They went fast on the segment I did on The Vine. I love going on The Vine. The anchors and crew are so fun and are special people.
Ingredients
3 bars Dark Chocolate Almond Melted ( I used Ghirardelli Chocolate) https://www.ghirardelli.com
1/2 Bag Mini pretzels
3 Tablespoons of Torani Caramel sauce or more as needed.
3 Tablespoons Dark Chocolate Torani Caramel Sauce
Sea salt
Instructions
Lay out wax or parchment paper, using a spoon, drizzle a little chocolate on the paper and smooth it out a little with the back of the spoon like you are painting a circle.
Drop three to -five pretzels, slightly overlapping onto the chocolate and spoon a little melted caramel over all. Drizzle the Dark Chocolate Sauce over as well
Sprinkle with a little sea salt and then drizzle a little more chocolate & caramel.
Let set and store in sealed container.
P.S. I added the little candy eyes for my #halloween spiders or monsters. Be sure and check out the episode for our Fun Halloween Segment to see how these turned out. Click here to see video
