PAT'S FAVORITE BREAKFAST PIZZA
I love to make my own pizza. I'm not a fan of traditional type of pizza's so much. I had stumbled across this crust that I accidentally purchased by mistake. It was Simply Organic's Vegan Thin & Crispy crust. Honestly, I didn't have my glasses on when I picked it up.
I am glad that I didn't. This crust was truly delicious! The vegan crust wasn't heavy and it only took 10 minutes in the oven. It was light, crispy and just perfect. I had used it on a regular pizza with the typical red sauce crust.
I thought I would give a breakfast pizza a try since the crust would be lighter. It came out much better than I thought. The office liked it so much that I will be serving this up often. This entire pizza didn't take a total of 20-30 minutes to make, bake and serve.
A Delicious Breakfast Pizza
Ingredients:
Thin & Crispy Simply Organic Pizza Crust (Vegan) gives you a crispier crust
Diced Ham
Bacon (pre-cooked bacon and cut into strips)
Kraft Mozzarella & Parmesan Cheese
6 Eggs
1/4 cup of Milk or Almond Milk
Avocado Oil (you can substitute with a light avocado oil dressing if you can't find the plain oil)
1 cup Kraft Cheddar Cheese (sharp)
1/2 cup Baby Spinach -
2 Teaspoons Lowry's Garlic Pepper
1 large Tomato (sliced and diced)
Salt/Pepper
TO MAKE:
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
Beat Eggs with the 1/4 cup of milk, salt & pepper - scramble in pan until fluffy
Slice and/or dice your tomato - sprinkle with Lowry's Garlic Pepper and let them soak in the avocado oil
Top the Crust as below:
Pour 2 tablespoons of avocado oil or the dressing and spread throughout the crust (this is your sauce)
Top with a thin Layer of the Kraft Mozzarella & Parmesan Cheese
Top with Cooked Scrambled Eggs and spread throughout crust
Top with the Pre-Soaked Tomatoes
Add another thin layer of the Kraft Mozzarella & Parmesan Cheese
Add Diced Ham and Bacon strips and spread throughout the crust
Add thin Layer of the Kraft Sharp Cheddar
Add another thin layer of the Kraft Mozzarella & Parmesan Cheese
Place in oven and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes (or until crust is golden brown & crispy)
Take out of Oven and Top with Baby Spinach and sprinkle with thin Layer of the Kraft Mozzarella & Parmesan Cheese
Slice & Serve
It is delicious and light. P.S. You can leave off cheddar if you like.
