OVEN FRIED POTATOES
...GARLIC RANCH
We love good 'ole southern fried potatoes. However, we try and not eat fried foods as much as possible! These oven fried potatoes taste fried but they are not! So good. So many ways to make.
I am sharing this Recipe today for the Garlic-Ranch Potatoes.
simple ..simple..simple
Ingredients:
5 lb bag Red Potatoes -- will feed at least 10 people
1 stick Butter (margarine)
Lowry's Garlic Pepper (you will find out by now -- my "go-to" ingredient
1/2 pkg of Ranch Seasoning Mix
Salt/Pepper
To Make:
Pre-heat Oven to 450 Degrees
Spray Large Cookie Sheet with Pam Spray
Rinse and peel potatoes
Cut into shoe string slices (as pictured) and scatter to cover sheet
Cut Stick of Butter into 4 Sections -place on top of potatoes throughout cookie sheet
Top with Lowry's Garlic Pepper (don't be stingy - (sprinkle throughout the potatoes)
Salt/Pepper throughout the pan
Sprinkle the Ranch Seasoning Mix throughout the potatoes
Bake at 450 Degrees for 30-40 minutes - Turn a couple of times while they are baking
(if you want them crispy you can cook longer)
Take out - add more dashes of salt/pepper/garlic pepper - you will want to do this!
Serve --we eat with Ketchup
Again, 5 lb. bags will make at least 2 large cookie sheet pans full. We feed about 10 people with a 5 lb. bag. You can peel about 3-4 large potatoes if you want a serving for 4............ P.S. They heat up well!
These don't last very long around my office or house! I eat these often just for my lunch meal!
xoxo Pat
