It was a SPOOKatcular day on The Vine today. I always have so much fun trying to come up with some fun food items, drinks & decor for the Show. Today, was especially fun because we made an easy peasy witches brew. It couldn't get any easier! Plus, it tasted so good! You can watch the full fun episode by clicking here Witches Brew Recipe 1 Large Stock Pot 1 2 liter Canada Dry Ginger Ale 3 1 liter Green Apple Gatorade To Make: - Chill the Ginger ale & Gatorade overnight. Pour the Gatorade in the Stockpot. Add in the chilled ginger ale and you will see it bubble quick. I added fun decorative faux ice cubes to my brew to make it more festive. These cute little faux cubes I found on my Amazon. I linked them up in my Weekly Picks at https://www.amazon.com/shop/sweetyellowcornbread They come in a variety of colors. The green were perfect for my witches brew. I found the witch feet at the local Dollar Tree and picked up the "Boo" straws at Marshall's. This is really simple and makes it fun & festive. And for a #winwin ..............It's delicious! Adam is always so fun to do segments with. He will dress the part or do anything you ask for him to help you pull of a fun segment. I work full time as the Administrator (Systems & Office) for L. R. Mourning Company. We are General Contractor's who specialize in Restaurant and Commercial Construction. This Segment gave me the perfect opportunity to wear our hard hats & safety goggles. It made it fun and entertaining! Plus, Safety first! Right? Spider Eggs We also demonstrated the easiest fun Halloween treat you can make. The spider eggs are also delicious and so easy. All you need is a large ziplock bag, a bag of oreo cookies and I used dark chocolate almonds for the eggs. YUM! Add some oreo's to your bag and seal. Use an object to chop them up while in the bag and pour into a dish (I found the cute spider basket at the Dollar Tree.) Add in your dark chocolate almonds and you have yourself Spider eggs. I used some graffiti of construction paper spiders to garnish. You can find these or plastic spiders at your local Dollar Store. There were plenty of fun treats for our party on The Vine. Haystack's, ghost & witch pops, oreo's and so much more! My favorite pumpkin shape was the Rolo Tray. I used gold wrapped Rolo's, candy corn pumpkins, candy corn, m&m's, candy footballs, and carrot cake oreo's for the eyes. This wasn't hard to accomplish and you can see the shape. You just need to get a nice round tray and a little time on your hands. It took a little time to make sure the Rolo's were all on the correct side. Our complete fun Halloween Segment with all of the food ideas can be viewed on The Vine by clicking here Take a look at our fun pics below for some other ideas. Be sure and watch both episodes and you can get a better idea to create quick & simple Halloween treats.
