Casino Night and Texas Hold'em Tournament!  How fun does that sound?   

Youth Home presents their 9th annual Casino Night and Texas Hold'em Tournament.  The Casino features Craps, Blackjack, Roulette, and other classic games.   These games will be staffed by experienced dealers.  Players can cash in their chips for prize raffle tickets for a chance to win dozens of fantastic prizes.

Youth Home is a nonprofit, private psychiatric treatment facility in Arkansas, founded in 1966.  Youth Home strengthens the community by serving those affected by mental illness.  Their goal is to equip and empower youth, adults, and entire families to become healthier and better contributing members of society.

Ken Estes serves on the Board of Directors for Youth Home.   Ken got involved with this great Nonprofit over eight years ago when one of the original board members invited him to attend some events.  Later Ken along with his wife, toured the facility and saw firsthand the impact of the great work helped the kids and their families.

He began volunteering at events and being part of committees.  Today, Ken proudly has served on the Board for a little over five years.   I met Ken during some HR Seminars that BancCorp South Insurance heads up periodically.   Ken is a Sr. Vice President with BancCorp South and is a big supporter of NonProfit Organizations.   You may contact Ken at:  ken.estes@bxsi.com

The Annual Casino Night will offer a VIP Lunch for $35.00.   Space is limited so be sure and get your tickets early!   Treat yourself to a full bar with 3 free drinks per person, drink service from your Poker Table and exclusive Hors D'oeuvres are included with the VIP Passes.

The Poker tournament is limited to 144 card players.  All Casino and Card Players must be 21 to play!

Who doesn't love Chocolate?   

However, make it dark chocolate to get some skin benefits!

​Dark chocolate is my favorite!  I use it in a variety of my cakes, cookies and my granola!  The rich taste is so good!   I love it plain as well!   

If you like Dark Chocolate it is a #winwin for you!   Do you know that cocoa has some pretty great effects on your skincare?  Now you really have a reason to eat more chocolate!   But, make sure it is the high antioxidant dark chocolate.   Eating 20 grams of the high-antioxidant dark chocolate per day could allow your skin to withstand over twice as much UV radiation before burning versus eating low-antioxidant chocolate.

Participants in a recent study that consumed cocoa powder high in antioxidants each day,  experienced thicker, more hydrated skin over a 6-12 week period.    The skin was less rough, less sensitive to sunburn and had better blood flow.

Make sure to choose dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa in order to maximize the benefits and keep added sugar to a minimum.   Give it a try!   The more you start eating dark chocolate, you might find yourself weaning off the fatty milk chocolate all together!
